Still in the stranglehold of Real Life. Grrr arrgh.

.) Survived whatever vile bug it was that had me feeling like crap for most of the past two and a half weeks. Still somewhat sore throat, but getting better now.

.) Hmpf vs. Catalan Archaeologists: 1:0. Held my presentation, and it was okay.

.) Writing: nothing new; too busy with the Evil Real Life Monster in its many guises.

.) Beta reading, meta thinking, general fannishness: predictably, also very little progress on this front. Had some vague ideas, took some notes, but there's no hope of turning them into anything coherent before I'm back from England. I know I promised various people comments and other kinds of help. Alas, there is absolutely no time at all for it at the moment. I am truly sorry, and I hope I will find more time when I'm back from England.

.) Watching: in what little spare time I can find at the moment - usually during dinner - I've been watching some Invisible Man (quite fun, but the "science" in it is really, really painfully bad), and I've also begun rewatching Deep Space Nine. Yes, after Methos nostalgia I'm now beginning to get Deep Space Nine nostalgia. It seems I'm cycling through all my old fandoms again.

.) Getting tired awfully early again. Which, I guess, either means I'm sort of getting used to a more normal sleep pattern, thanks to two weeks of near-continuous uni work followed by a week of near-continuous work at my day job, or I'm still a bit ill, perhaps.

.) Travel preparations: about to leave for Britain on Tuesday, and far too many things are still far too vague... *Really* need to organise my trip tomorrow.

.) Nager's gone to Australia. Now I have to do all my hardcore geeking on my own.
