Recap, part 2!
Where did I leave off? Oh yeah, my midnight launch. Well it was an ok turn out(mostly for Mass Effect 2) and I saw a few people I knew(coworkers who were off, friends from college, regular customers) so we hung out. Every so often I'd do something work related(line control, move stuff from the back, etc) but I was off the clock so I was laid back. When midnight rolled around I was near the front of the line but decided to just stand aside, the lines clear in about 5 minutes anyways. When the cloud cleared I grabbed my copy and left to campus
Louis had his copy in his Wii waiting for me to get there so we could start. I threw him the HD cables I grabbed for him as thanks for letting me crash there and since he just got a new HDTV the progressive scan on the Wii would look nice. I let him start playing it since I figured I'd play it all day after class. He beat the tut boss and then got to rank 50 before we went to sleep.
I woke up on campus a little after 9. I had to move my car before it got a ticket for being parked in a vistor spot since I had a communtor tag. After moving my car I headed to my 9:30 class which I had never been on time to. It was nice to get there before class started instead of during. Precalc was uneventful but as I got out I got a call from work.
"Hello?"
"Hey Gene it's Amy. Brian is in the ER, is there any way you can work?"
So there went my day off. But that was fine, I had school at 11 the next day, I could stay up a bit late and play. But I got out of work late enough that I couldn't get home in time to watch White Collar. I decided to stop at Publix and grab some odds and ends. At home I cooked up some of the odds and skipped the ends and got ready for the recast at 1 am.
12:30 rolls around and...*work*
