i spent most of my day ripping CDs. i thought that i could get songs from my IPod, but that is not the case. luckily i had most of the stuff backed up on my external. however, my hard drive was so sick when i tried backing up the stuff from my dj.
i am selling my roof bike rack on craigslist, and i am surprised at how quickly i've been getting responses. i tried buying a trunk rack on craigslist, but there was a misunderstanding between the lady i talked to and her boyfriend, and her boyfriend sold it to someone else.
the full moon is caught between 2 freeways, and there is a "crescent moon" on the office building. (taken while chilling by the bayou)
tonight was the opening of the new buffalo bayou promenade/hike-bike trail between sabine and bagby. it was something i was interested in doing, but i had to drag andrea against her will (she was strongly against it). her major problem was that the image of a bayou in houston, especially since we live near a gross one (brays), is just disgusting. the bayou looked great- clean and manucured. there were lots of people at the event, including bikers and kayakers/canoers in the bayou. it was fun to just chill on the grassy banks and people watching, especially babies, kids, and pets. we were intrigued by a "raver" across the bayou. there was a fireworks show, and she ended up having a good time since she loves fireworks. after the show, they showed nature films on a floating barge, but we weren't into that, so we walked around. we went to the other side of the bayou and was surpised to learn that our "raver" was a middle aged woman! afterwards was starbucks. i had the odwalla monster c. now, i have 1350% of my daily vitamin C needs!
