it's been a long day...
i basically ran on 3 hours a sleep today, and i am so exhausted. after my 1 class, i had some lunch and finished my research paper. i lugged my backpack and returned all of these library books, turned in my paper, and went to this volunteer appreciation thing. it turns out that i actually got into SVB, so i went to that meeting.
in the evening, i watched the play, white elephant, written and directed by a UT student and put on by the liberal arts honors program students. it was really cool with 4 short, slightly inter-related scenes dealing with a small town when the circus comes around.
afterwards, i went to the blanton mix. they've building the blanton museum for awhile. the museum used to be a pretty small space in the art building. anyways, the grand opening is on april 29, but tonight was the preview party for students. there was snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, a dj, a band, some activities, and of course the art. i definitely need to go back in the near future.
