complete failure?!?!

I'm thinking that who ever filled out the long "would you ever" thingy should tell me who they are. :-)

******************************

If nothing else I realized today, or should I saw I was informed, that my pathetic excuse for a GPA of 2.65 is not as big a failure as I'm told on a regular basis. I just might not be as stupid as I thought.

explanation:
There is a scholarship open that is strictly for MET students. Which is what I am. However one of the criterias is that you have a 3.0 GPA. That definitely throws me out the loop. Well my professors have all tried to get the GPA requirement dropped to around a 2.5 b/c it is not very common for an engineering student to have such a high GPA. Granted this particular scholarship is sponsored by someone that I couldn't tell you the name of so they have no say over the criteria of recieving the scholarship. Apparently about the only MET students that do meet the GPA of 3.0 are those that are in their first and second years and they haven't even really taken any engineering courses.

Mitra even said that everyone he graduated with (some 20 years ago) received a job immediately after graduation EXCEPT the guy that had the highest GPA.

Yes I understand that NO ONE on my friends list cares about any of the above, but it gave me a little hope.
