Yesterday, I met Kika... after a year and a half. One year and seven months since I left Milan, but who's counting?
The whole experience was very nice and touching. The day didn't start so great when she called me to say that she got lost trying to get here (I was very mortified because I was the one that gave her the wrong address.) With the help of Google Maps she managed to get here, two hours later, but she arrived.
We talked a lot about what had happened in our lives in the last almost two years. She graduated, of course, and turns out that she's now working for Missoni which is a famous and respectable Italian fashion house. I always expected Marangoni graduates to end up working for Bacci & Abracci or something of the sort.
I'm feeling great. I really am. I'm reading "Chasing Harry Winston" and I'm loving it. I also bought my copy of "Braking Dawn" the other day and it's waiting impatiently for me to read it. Hehe, but it'll have to wait.
