As for the girl- yes, I've definitely grown into her. In fact, it's not more than a few days ago I read some of her earliest threads and, well, I cringed. LOL. But we all heave to start somewhere, I guess... ;)
Most of the topics where she's depressed/feeling down are verse specific, yes. I agree that this isn't an inherent Kirk-trait, and maybe I should have tagged those threads with the verse in the different comms. Will make sure to do so from now on, to avoid confusion. It might also have something to do with the fact that it's difficult to switch from one verse where she's upset to a general one where there's nothing wrong. I am aware of this and working on it. So thank you for giving me a heads up about it.
Heh, and as you can see, I have no trouble with long replies. ;) I hear you though, it's great when you get a tag that's longer than one or two sentences. It helps improve the game because there's so much more to react and respond to and, for me at least, takes it from simple conversation between the characters to them and the muns telling a story.
I think I might have an idea about your super secret identity, but I'm not sure. The thing about being one of the first to play with the girl kinda threw me... Hmmmm.... *goes back to pondering*

Heh, I could link you to a few of those. Ah, you weren't bad, though your favorite ship has definitely stayed the same. I don't blame you, I'm a rapid K/B shipper as well.
I see, and it's not really a bad thing. I think that Kirk can be depressed, he/she just needs to not express it too openly to whoever comes by. More of a show, don't tell. But I'm really glad you're up for taking a critique and not throwing it back in my face, it's more common to see the latter.
Love it, I love it. You should join a game, you know, maybe with the guy Kirk, because I think it would help you blossom further if you had somewhere more than a sandbox.
Maybe you do, maybe ya don't. I play each one of the main three, and multiple versions of one of them.

Heh, yeah, I do ship K/B, but I do try to be open to other pairings. Which can be difficult when the girl sometimes stubbornly default to K/B. ;)
And critique is the whole point of doing these memes, the way I see it. They're concrit posts, not "tell me how awesome you think my muse is even if you might not really mean it" posts. As long as people can tell me their reasoning behind their critique and not just throw a "you suck and I hate you" in my face, I do take it to heart. Wouldn't ask for concrit if I wasn't ready to hear what I can do better. And you're right about Kirk being a show, don't tell. I think I've fallen into the trap of furthering the plot or moving the conversation along a few times, and thus have had her say more than she's naturally inclined to. Thanks for giving me something to work with. XD
The boy is in a game, and I hear you about having more than a sandbox to play in. Now I just need to find a game that will accept the girl... Aren't too many games around that allow rule63!muses.

Don't blame you there either. My other boy won't do any other pairing if his life depended on it. K/B is the best pairing anyways.
Yeah, but not every sees it that way. Some people put it up expecting asspats and go batshit when they don't get them. LOL. But I understand the plot thing too, because often the roleplay will stagnate without something to push it along. I look forward to seeing you take the advice.
OH DUH right you're in ERPG. No, not typically, not really serious ones. It falls just between canon and OC, so somewhere in fanon and people don't usually want it in their games. I wish you luck, however.

And people who don't want actual concrit, but only someone's lips on their ass shouldn't do concrit posts. There are other memes for that. However, people shouldn't use concrit posts for wank and flaming either, and that happens far too often too, so... *heavy sigh* I guess it's just another example of to each their own. ;)
Yep. I am. Or, well. The boy is. ;P Blech, maybe I should just start my own game so the girl has somewhere to play out actual plots and story arcs.
