Less than a week left of summer school. Holiday Monday; review for exam Tuesday; exam Wednesday; in-class-essay thursday; project presentations Friday and then it's OVER! Hooray! Sorry--I'm making a bigger deal out of this than it is. nobody really much gives a fuck but me (and probably my students).
My summer school check was direct-deposited today--another Major fuckin hooray!! I bought a new lawn tractor--desperately needed for mowing my 1.6 acres; paid off a credit card; and look forward to putting a large chunk of change on my new furnace, which is 12-months-no-interest if paid off by next March. So far things look good. Let's hope they keep on that way.
Will probably make the fireworks run to MO tomorrow. And maybe mow with the new machine. Apart from those things, my holiday weekend is way up in the air. not sure who--if anyone--will be here for cook-out / fireworks. maybe no one. whatever. . . . The Song Remains the Same.
More later--time for me to take the Salmon off the grill. Let's do this again, Okay? . . .
