summer 06 wells, maine
It feels like summer, there's tourists like summer, and it was about 80 degrees today. It makes me sad to think we have to go to school on Tuesday and there's a ton of work to be done, but it feels good to know that summer is finally coming. Seriously, I was starting to wonder what was taking so long. As much as traffic on route 1 can be a huge pain, it's totally worth it. That's what back roads are for... I also have loved going mini golfing everyday this weekend with Tom, and winning every time :-) except today because the course was so lame we stopped keeping score.
I've decided that longboarding is extremely fun, even with bare feet, but unfortunately it's also a little dangerous. Just look at my leg and andrea's arm and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. This little accident, however, does not mean that I'm not doing it again all summer, it just means I might have to wear a lot of padding or something if I don't want a cast on my leg.
Work tonight was CRAZY busy and we didn't get everyone out the door until a half hour after we closed. It was a little ridiculous, but kinda fun at the same time. I need the extra hours too cause well... someone's a little broke. I'm definately not looking forward to getting punished for not paying car insurance and other expenses here and there (aka car repairs).
Alright well sleep is much needed for those awesome memorial day parades tomorrow.... UGH. But still... everyone should go.
