Well I'm fucked if I'm buying a book from Amazon now! £9 may not be a lot to them, but I'm damned if I'll be letting anyone I know order any damn thing from them.

Spread the word! The more people boycotting, the better. I'll gladly pay a higher price to take my business elsewhere.

Whether wisely or not, I emailed Amazon.co.uk, asking why the top books found with the search term "Homosexuality" were homophobic, particularly when one of the books is far lower down on sales rank than Biological Exuberance.

I also asked the UK site to confirm that it would not be following in the footsteps of the American site and discriminating against LGBT literature while Playboy literature still has a sales rank. I may also have pointed out that discrimination against a person or group due to their sexual preference is a crime in the UK.

Why do I think I'm going to regret having sent this in the morning?

Oh, but the UK site is already following suit. the Hardcover copy of Anything Goes no longer has a sales rank.
