I LOVE this story. This is, no offense to any of the other writers (including myself), the kind of Highlander story I remember read a lot of back in the day: danger! plane crash! Immortals! Visceral fight scenes! CUTTING OFF ARMS! RAGHR!

I loved the Joe/Duncan/Methos dynamic. They're very real people here. You also made me feel bad about Jillian, and believe me, it's hard for me to feel bad for one of Methos's ex girlfriends.

The description fantastic. Just amazingly fantastic. You made Dr. Anne tolerable! Yay!

YAY! This rocks! Thank you so much to whoever you are! I so love AUs, and there aren't nearly as many of them in HL as there are in other fandoms. (I wonder why that is?) AUs make everything old new again with endless new possibilities, and this is fantastic proof of that. Thank you!

I was holding my breath through most of this story. Loved the AU meeting. Glad Joe didn't die. Kristov is one of my least favorite of the bad immortals -- happy to see him dead. heh.

Great story. Totally had me transfixed while I'm supposed to be doing other stuff. heh.
