Writer, I'm so sorry to keep you hanging this long! I got swept up in holiday and work busy-ness that kept me from being able to give the necessary attention to this fest.

I LOVE THIS STORY! Lydia and Ceirdwyn together is a dream I didn't know I had, and now I want ALL THE FIC of the two of them. Lydia as a POV character is excellent. You were so right to guess that I'd like to see her, and I really liked seeing her take on discovering her Immortality. I am also so delighted to see Ceirdwyn, and to see Ceirdwyn like this, as wronged-by-werewolf avenger, and also calm business-woman. And Alex. I'm getting ready to re-watch her episode so I can appreciate her properly.

Now, the important part: You killed Peter Hale for me! ::cheers:: Not only that, you found an explanation for the whole stupid aging (or stupid-aging) thing with his character, and then killed him for me, and got Lydia her vengeance, and gave Lydia her power back, and I am so happy with all of that! Also, also, the end with Lydia and Jackson. It's good to see that Jackson learned a little humanity. I'd love to know what happens next with them.

The question is: When are you going to put the story on AO3?

Also, any chance for a sequel? I bet if I said the word 'Cory' and then suggested that he needs to visit Beacon Hills, I could at least make some wheels start spinning.

I might put it on AO3 this weekend, actually! Strangely, I had forgotten to post it to LJ until last night, but now that it's there it'd be easy to import. Hmm... I could go do that now... (edit: This is now done! Hopefully the gift attribution is correct.)

*intrigued* You've hit me at a good time for asking about a sequel, since I've just finished braining HL fic for this year's shortcuts~ Maybe Cory will have to pop by and nose around about how things have proceeded. *lol* Depending on if the remaining supernatural population of BH know what all happened to Peter, or saw or smelt the people involved, that could get fun. Hell, I could expand a little something I wrote a while back to be the lead-in to that... *thinking thoughts* ;3 Thanks!

The story is now properly on AO3.

No pressure on a sequel. I know how fickle those things can be. OTOH, if one were to manifest, I definitely would not complain :)

(Also, it's fun to know your weakness.)

Cory makes such a great character in fanfic. I was just thinking what a shame it was that the producers didn't get Cory onto Raven. It would've been nice to see a bit more of him in canon.

He is, and that would have been so great. I have seen him in some fic with the guy from Raven whose name I am blanking on -- something Wolfe, maybe? -- but it's all post-series and vague references to stuff I have knowledge of. :/

I've been reading all the HL fanfic I can get my hands on (barring some crossovers and pairings that I'm decidedly not interested in) these past few months, so I've seen the Raven characters put to good use there, despite the canon not doing much for them.

Yesterday I trawled your AO3 bookmarks, since I know you'd have already scoped out the best of the Cory fics :) You did, indeed, have some great bookmarks. You also had bookmarks for some of my stories, which was a fun surprise.

I'm looking forward to your new story!
