This is a great usage of a rarely used character. I don't remember her much from the show, except that every time I have to type her name I have to look it up. But it is great to see these lesser used characters come out of the woodwork.

It does seem very in character that even as self-sufficient a person as Cierdwyn would turn to Duncan in that kind of situation, and that she would know Methos.

Nice story -- I've always liked Cierdwyn and am happy to see stories with her. I can imagine her adopting a pre-immortal. Wonder where she found the little girl.

Thank you for the kind words. I've always loved Ceirdwyn myself, and I'm glad you enjoyed her in the story. As for where she found the child, I can imagine her visiting orphanages and waiting to feel the pre-Immortal buzz.

Love the ending-or is it the beginning. Yes, I like Cierdwyn, too. Cassandra should not have picked on her. Celtic fighter, add angry mother to the mix... Cass better watch her ass.

Good to see Duncan as listening to Methos and understanding his pain.

I do think it is totally in character for Mac to finally get over his sense of betrayal and have some empathy for the pain Methos was in after the entire Horsemen fiasco.
