This story is a shining jewel -- all three drawn perfectly, like an illumination in a manuscript.

If only Methos *had* saved 'On Comedy' from whatever its eventual fate was! (Bemoans the drama major and lover of books) Though perhaps he had saved it in the first place...

Thank you so much for the lovely comments!

I forgot to add a disclaimer that I was blatently stealing from 'The Name of the Rose', but I just knew if anyone could sneak away a copy, it would be Methos. ;)

I love Amanda and Rebecca. I've always wondered about Amanda and Methos' history together. After all, they never explained on the show how Amanda knew who Methos was.

Thanks Pat - it was an interesting challange to put all of them together for the first time.

This is fantastic! I absolutely adore Methos through Amanda's eyes and their whole trip together. I love the little touch of Rebecca too.

Thank you so very much!

You're very welcome, and I'm so glad (and relieved!) you like. Amanda somewhat stole away a lot of the story from Methos here, but I think they bounce off each other so well. :)

Amanda does tend to steal the show when she appears, so that's entirely understandable. But I love Amanda, so it's also welcome! Thank you again!

Oh. Oh. Snapshot sharp, cutting observation, both character and situation. Wonderful piece of writing - this one shines.

Hm. Hmmm... do I know you?

Thank you so much. Your comments are very much appreciated.

I must admit however, I'm interested as to who you thought I could be... :)

The ending section of this is so delicious, it gave me goosebumps. YES. I always love Rebecca best when in combination with Methos and Amanda. This whole piece is a delight, and a gift to all of us. Thank you! ♥

:D You were one of the people I guessed correctly! I'm so pleased. I just read this again, and it is lovely. That last part really gets me every time. I love the idea of Rebecca playing games like this with all her beloveds, and I love that you left the last bit private, between them. I could just see it happening exactly like this! And oh, how I wish we'd seen this on the show. There's something about Methos and Amanda's dynamic (in "Finale" in particular, though also in the other eps) that suggests they really do have a long history, and I can so see Rebecca loving to pull Methos's tail.
