Oh, but these are superb. Your first 'The faraway land is an old barn' had me laughing out loud by Amanda's "This is awkward". I loved the quick, snappy dialogue, and the mythology of both Supernatural and Highlander tilted at sideways in small glimpses and snatches of comment. I'm not at all familiar with NCIS, but 'The Immortal Lee's Enemy' seduced immediately with your fragmented, clever, atmospheric start.

I thank you.

yeah, I wasn't sure what to put there, and then Amanda said "why *this*, silly."

I confess I seized upon the opportunity to explain just what made the Horsemen distinct - we've seen smaller sets of Immortals agree not to kill each other (Grace and her husband, for one)

thank you. that start was the only one that lasted more than five paper pages.

and it means a great deal to me that you read it, even without being familiar with NCIS. thank you.

Very nice. I liked the two stories and thought the SPN crossover was so much fun. But if Amanda and Methos were the only two left - what happened to Duncan?!

I'm not that familiar with NCIS, but I loved the the way you worked this part of the story.

thank you very much.

he wouldn't have lasted two seconds around Dean and Castiel, so I did him a mercy by letting him lose a fight. (he probably let Amanda win for one reason or another - figured she'd be a better bet than himself)

thank you.

Both are great crossovers. I'm happy to see a Gathering story that doesn't make me cry. LoL

why thank you.

I've never really seen any Gathering stories. (I think they're buried under all the Duncan/Methos fics)

For some reason, I find crossovers with Supernatural difficult (possibly because I've only seen a couple of episodes.) However, this one works for me in the Amanda and Methos dialog. "It sounded better in Harappan," Methos said. Things would get strange near the Gathering.

I really like Ziva as a character--she plays well with the Highlander universe.

my policy is "Only the things I know, are canon. everything else is hearsay."

(and I've seen a grand total of one and a quarter seasons' worth of episodes - and a lot of eps I missed during that time)

thank you.

to quote Methos, "Oh yes."

I agree. part of me thinks it's because of how she's supposed to be good at shedding identities like any Immortal, and partly because she's Ziva. :)

Thank you so much! *hugs* I feel so special to get two fics and they are crosses with two of my favorite fandoms. :D

you're very welcome. it was my pleasure and my delight (and honor) to write them.
(there was a Highlander/Firefly one, but that one's on sabbattical)

have nice days and be well - and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
