"You've got to be kidding me," he spluttered.

heeeeeee! Oh, this was delightful. I could picture it all so vividly.

I love the dancing, Methos's melodramatics on the plank, and the way these two are just so effortless and fun together.

>"Authenticity is all very well, but it's a bit redundant if nobody on the dance floor knows the steps," Methos countered
very very true.

rich and full of humour and oh-dear-lord moments.

nice to know Methos can be a step ahead (or more steps ahead) of a thief like Amanda.

excellent story. bravo.

Oh, excellent! Thank you so much! You totally brightened up my wet, freezing Thursday. I love it--particularly Methos stashing the diamond in the silverware drawer. Thank you!

Hee! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was trying to make it modern day and make it pirate-ish at the same time :-P

I love seeing Amanda and Methos together. Too bad he doesn't get her into trouble now and then!

This is delightful -- the dancing, the snippets of personal history, the banter, Methos getting one up on Amanda, all of it. I think my very favorite line has to be "It has monks in it, you wouldn't be interested." So very very true to both of them.
