American Music Awards
I hate big music shows like the American Music Awards. Real performers and bands never get recognized and these types of awards always feature the same people. The Black Eyed Peas are not a pop/rock group. If they were nominated for the R&B category then they shouldn't be able to be nominated for the Pop/Rock category as well. There are so many bands out there, why not give them a chance to win these awards and be recognized? Why not actually have some rock bands for the rock categories instead of pop bands? There are so many bands out there that are doing well that people don't know about (not just rock but all genres). These awards shows always feature the same mainstream artists and performers and its always so boring. What's the point in watching and hearing the same things you hear overplayed on the radio?
