Stress, work.......2 days until the "big day"
Man am I stressed out right now! Brad's not helping. He gets so flipped out when there's things to get done. Me, I just get it done and that's that. Nothing to it. He was complaining about how this is his one free week off from work and he's been busy running around every day. Oh boo hoo! I've been stuck at work, busier than a one-armed man at a pie eating contest and he's whining about "Oh, I painted the arch today" or "Oh I cleaned out the flower bed today" - both of which took him only about an hour. So what the hell did he do the rest of his day? "Want to know what movie I watched today?" yea....that's what I thought :)
Man, there's some big doin's around here today. The boss has the sales & marketing managers in his office with closed doors, and I can hear him talking very loudly over my radio. I think something happened with one of the sales reps. Weird. I overheard him saying he wants to take away her access to the system, wipe out her user file, etc. Weird. OK now I'm hearing laughter. Crazy.
So Brad is having lunch with his dad today, and is apparently going to tell him about the wedding. He told his brother and sis-in-law, which is good. She's taking me for a massage and nails fun tomorrow. I love her. I'm excited about that. I'll need it! I think everything else is taken care of. We pick up the cake tomorrow evening, my dress tomorrow morning. I just have to get the beverages and hors d'ovures and the side dishes. We're having turkey, ham, mashies, black-eyed peas, salad and rolls. Then a cheese tray and some other appetizer. I think that'll be cool.
Oh! 2 gifts off our registry have been bought! We got a coffee maker and Egyptian cotton sheets. So we'll be wide awake and laying around in our lovely sheets. :)
Not sure if I'll have time to update again before Sunday, so wish me luck everyone! We've got a lot to do!
