And now, time for the next challenge. This time around, we're going back to a classic: Black and White. All of the icons for this challenge should contain no colors -- just shades of black and white.
Underneath the cut, you'll find five images. Please use only these images either individually or blended and add such textures and effects as inspire you.
The challenge ends at 09:00 AM GMT (04:00 a.m. EST in North America), Monday, 24 January 2011. Entries will be up shortly thereafter and voting will run for two days, with voting ending at 09:00 AM GMT (04:00 a.m. EST in North America), Wednesday, 26 January 2011.

The Rules:

2. No animation. Please use only the images provided.
3. Use of textures, blending, text etcetera is all permitted.
4. Icons must meet the standard LJ requirements of 100x100 pixels and no larger than 40 KB in size. This will be enforced; if your icon doesn't meet the 100x100 pixels requirement, it will be rejected by the mods.
5. Icons must be made specifically for this challenge; please don't use a previously made icon.
6. Do not post the icons you made for this challenge anywhere else until the challenge is over and the winners are announced.
7. Submit your icons and URLs in a comment to this entry; all comments are screened.
