Why this must be read: It's funny. It's kind of hot. It's very short: 350 words. The ending isn't 100% believable (would Mac really do that?), but hey, it's only 350 words; there's no backstory here to convince the reader that yes, Mac would do exactly that. In this case, I'm okay with taking it on faith. And how can you not love its opening sentence?

They were mid-scene when yet another Immortal came for Duncan's head. Methos hefted the sword he'd been teasing Duncan with, wiped it clean on his leather pants, and said to the intruder, "Let's take this outside."
