YOUNG SOCIALITE SUCCUMBS TO BURNING MAN
Author: Countessa Leaph
Pansy Parkinson, twenty-five, of the Knightsbridge neighborhood in London, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, March 29th, the day of the devastating solar flare. She was the last victim of the Burning Man cult, one of the two young girls to be kidnapped. Her friend, Daphne Greengrass, survived the attack and woke up from her coma just a few short weeks following the attack. Miss Parkinson was not so lucky, falling into a deep coma and falling victim to her wounds when the solar flare inflicted its power on all unsuspecting wizards and witches.
She was born in Oxshott, England on the twentieth of January to Jeffrey and Callida Parkinson. She was a former Slytherin student, graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1999 upon its redesign following the War of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
Miss Parkinson worked diligently as the First Assistant to the Head Minister, Aelius Forrester, who is devastated to her. He had been quoted as saying, "Pansy fought until the very end. She was a wonderful employee and she will be missed dearly."
She is survived by her mother and father.
A wake will be held at the Agrippa Funeral Home in Oxshott, England Saturday, April 12th. Viewings will be 12PM-3PM and 5PM-8PM. The funeral will be at the Oxshott Cemetary, Sunday, April 13th with a memorial service at 10AM.
