ONE OF OUR OWN ATTACKED; ANOTHER BODY FOUND

It is with incredibly sad news that I report that one of our very own has been targeted by the Burning Man. Daily Prophet photographer Lavender Brown was due to meet a friend at The Spotted Hen, a pub on the outskirts of Diagon Alley, when she was brutally attacked by our unknown assailant. Our sources within St. Mungo's Hospital have reported that while Miss Brown is due to recover, she was stricken quite ill with an unknown substance and was not expected to make it through the night. We are thankful she was brought to the hospital in time to avoid round two of the Burning Man's attacks.
This same substance has been connected with the other two murders in the Burning Man case. Although exact details have not been released, we are quite sure here at the Prophet that this new substance is nothing we have ever seen before! We urge everyone to be careful of what's being put in their drinks and suggest a friendly night at home would be safer than a visit to any pub - Wizard or not!
Of course, bad news always precedes worse news.
Right before noon - another body was found.
Seems our Burning Man was going to find a victim no matter what.
A young man named Dennis Creevey was found in the back of a metro car on the Muggle Underground. He, unfortunately, did not miss out on the killer's unique trademark and was found with severe 3rd degree burns covering his entire body. Dennis had just returned from a trip around the world when his brother reported him missing sometime around midnight last night. We are unsure of his whereabouts during that time or how a young wizard ended up on the Underground.
We will keep our readers posted with more news as it comes!
And we will do our best to get to the bottom of this - even if the Ministry does not want us to!
