DEAD BODY FOUND

Just about to finish her early morning duties, Hog’s Head bartender Orbita Jacke was in for quite a gruesome morning greeting. Hidden among the garbage out back where Jacke was due to empty out the previous night’s fare was the body of a young woman. With severe burn marks blocking any sort of immediate identification, Jacke quickly got in contact with the authorities at the Ministry and then proceeded to lose her breakfast.
Aurors were on the scene within the minute, taping off the surrounding area and blocking any sort of public viewing which left this reporter climbing onto the rooftop of the pub in order to get a better look.
The body is believed to be Parvati Patil, a twenty-five year old Divination apprentice, working with the great Sybill Trelawney. She reportedly went missing after failing to return home following the 742nd Hogwarts Reunion that took place on Monday, November 11th.
Sources can't be sure what the cause of death was and further examinations will have to take place. This has been quite a shock for the quiet Hogsmeade community as the crime rates have receded quite dramatically in the past five years.
There is no word yet on who might have commit this heinous crime but Aurors have suggested staying inside after dark would be a smart choice for all those in the neighborhood - and to keep hold of your wands - as it seems the victim’s was laying well outside of her reach during the discovery.
Headmistress McGonagall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has cancelled all forth-coming Hogsmeade visits until this criminal has been caught.
