PARENTS FEAR RETURNING CHILDREN TO HOGWARTS
Author: Randall Tempkin
The time has come again for the Hogwarts Express to make its journey from Kings Cross to Hogwarts Station, a journey for some expected, but for others the very beginning of their magical education. What should be an exciting and exhilarating time in a student's life has been marred by the continuing conquest for land among the most fascinating and downright dangerous creatures of the infamous Forbidden Forest. Will that battle find its way toward the nearby castle grounds?
Many parents seem to think so.
Will Headmistress Minerva McGonagall see a full roster this coming year?
"How're we supposed to think they'll be safe?" cries August Fenty. "We've forgiven quite a bloody bit in their history before, but my daughter is only thirteen! This is too much for a child to deal with!"
"I just don't like it. Not one bit." says another parent, this one preferring to stay anonymous. "I don't trust those damn werewolves- they're animals!"
But while assurances have been made countless times by the Headmistress and staff alike, promising strict curfews and limited grounds access, we here at the Daily Prophet can't help but agree that perhaps this year would best be skipped.
