(no subject)
So the other night I had a crazy dream. I dreamed that I fell in love with one of Santa's elves who was here on foreign exchange going to school with us. After falling in love, I started looking into colleges and decided I wanted to go to the North Pole for college. So I told my mom and she said no because I would freeze. So I told this elf that I loved *forgot his name* that she had said no so he was going to bring in 'the boss'- Mrs. Clause. Mrs. Clause came down w/ Santa's sleigh so she could talk to my mom about the benefits of the North Pole college. I went to tell my mom there was someone at our house for her *Mrs. Clause had flown in my backdoor w/ the reindeer...the leading reindeer was my dog..still a dog but flying w/ the reindeer* so my mom was like whatever sign these newsletters *Our Christmas newsletter* while I go talk to them... so I told her to take one to the person waiting for her...and she did and she walked out to meet Mrs. Clause and I woke up right before they started talking...
I think I've had too much sugar. I just tried to make cookies with my brother to take to our neighbors...they burned because the dough was thin and the recipe didn't work. Over the break, I've just mostly stayed at home doing things that I should've done last semester. I feel very accomplished. Yesterday, a bunch of people came over to my house to go caroling. Paige and Leslie came over at like 3:30 and we went to a care center to sing to the residents. It was supposed to be more than just them, talia, and me, but no one else showed up. So I dropped them off at home on the way back to my house so I could get stuff ready for the big caroling party. Well, Derek had planned this whole thing-supposedly- so I was just supposed to bring music, have hot chocolate and invite my friends...he was supposed to invite his choir friends...he didn't- anyways I left to Costco w/ my mom to get some last minute stuff. Then we also had to go to Joanne's, Target, and Chik-fil-a *i hadn't eaten all day*. I got home to find Mark, Sammy, Sean, Ian, Paige, Tanner, Kevin, Leslie, Heather, Alexis, Shelby and my sister waiting for me at my house. It's kinda embarassing being late to your own party...well Derek got there way late but we waited for him and then we went caroling. Scott, Parker, and Carson showed up right when we were leaving. It was really cold. We went to a lot of houses. At one point we took a break to go back to my house, get in cars and go to some friend of Tanner's house. We got there and all of the instrumentalist carolers were there...we were like hey why don't we sing. So we thought about doing that, and I held david's music for like one song. Then Kevin, Derek, and my sister Kayley all ditched back to my house so we could eat the 4 doz. donuts and hot chocolate. Everyone came eventually and we hung out for awhile. Sean, Ian, Mark and Sammy left to go to the movies and the rest of us watched Napoleon Dynamite. When it was over, we watched the extra features and then everyone but Kevin, Derek, Tanner and Paige left. Kevin left after a few mins and then Paige, Tanner, Derek and I hung out for like an hour and a half. Then they all left, played a joke on me, and then I went to sleep. It was fun I guess... i hate being the hostess though.
Today I've been cleaning and now I'm going to the movies with my family. If I don't talk to you soon, Have a great Christmas!!
