Going batty
I think my friends list needed more bats.
So ugly... yet so utterly adorable.
I think I need to make them into an icon, unless anyone in an icon-making mood feels like doing it for me. XD
Look! It's educational. These guys are lattice-winged bats, also known as wrinkle-faced bats. They have hairless heads, like vultures. They feed on rotting fruit! Maybe they don't have face hair so the rotting fruit doesn't stick in their fur? Hmmm!
Also, they have a flap of fur that they can fold over their entire face. Can't find a picture of it, but it's bizarrely cute too.
