(no subject)
so i know i say this a lot, but i have found the book of all books***... the book that made me smile on one page and made my heart ache on the next...extremely loud and incredibly close by jonathan safran foer. i can't really do the book justice right now, but let me just say that it's books like this that make me realize how clever, creative, and sensitive modern writers can be, and how proud i am to have young people like jonathan both representing and enriching our generation.
so to summarize, extremely loud and incredibly close is now tied for my favorite book of all time (with a man in full, obvi), and i think i'm going to have to send jonathan safran foer some fan mail tomorrow asking him to marry me asap.
