(no subject)
ok, so this past weekend was sectionals for ultimate. our first tourney of the year. mr. yuk is gonna do good. we left on friday afternoon when it was ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY POURING. holy shit. i've never seen so much rain in my life. hurricane ivan passed through southern PA and it left a nice mess. it was fun hydroplaning in my flipflops on the rapids and ponds forming on the grass and on the paths. anyways, we leave pittsburgh at around 5:30. the rain was awful, but it was fun driving in it. we headed towards philly and arrived at drew's friend's house where we crashed for the night. tommy got it on with this nasty girl. most disturbing thing ever. anyways. the next day, we left early cuz our first game was at 9 and the fields were an hour away at turkey swamp park in NJ. we get there and start warming up...
ok let's just say that we all felt miserable that day. it poured and the wind whipped up. it was freezing and we felt so disorganized. we lost all four games that day, including a shut-out game by HIGH SCHOOLERS. well. they were junior national champions so i suppose they were good. mr. yuk needed to get their act together.
the next day.
we played pitt and upenn and mr. yuk crushed them both! we were making layout Ds, hard cuts, tight bids and sweet catches and throws. the weather was absolutely beautiful. we won both games that day and went home very happy.
mr. yuk rocked. we bounced back after an awful first day to crush the second day. it felt good to win. but not as good as a hot shower.
btw, mr. yuk is the name of the cmu boys ultimate frisbee team.
hmm i think my laundry is ready. i shall go check on that now. cya later
