My favourite place in Hong Kong // Самое любимое место в Гонконге

Сначала спешу поздравить всех с Новым 2016 Годом и Рождеством!
Это первый новый год, который я провела не в России и не во Франции. Что-то новое!

Удалось посмотреть фейерверк на Wanchai, была достаточно хорошая видимость даже.

First of all, my warmest season’s greetings to all of you for this New Year 2016!
It was my first New Years I spent outside of Russia or France! Something new!

We managed to get a good place to see fireworks after the general countdown.




После 3,5 месяцев я смогла посмотреть все основные достопримечательности и сегодня хочу рассказать вам о моем самом любимом месте в Гонконге. Кого-то это удивит, кто-то поймет и закивает, понимающе улыбаясь. Итак, позвольте вам представить Tai O, небольшую деревушку рыбаков на западе острова Лантау. Меня покорила природа, рыбацкие пейзажи и умиротворенность этого места.
After 3.5 months living in Hong Kong, I’ve seen most of its sightseeing and today I’d like to tell you about my favourite place here so far. One would raise one’s eyebrow, another would share a smile with understanding: “I know exactly what you mean!”. So let me introduce to you, Tai O, fishermen village on the southwest part of Lantau Island. I was blown away by its nature, landscape and serenity of this place.















Там также можно гулять достаточно далеко и даже добраться до секретного места (в интернете сказано, что он закрыто навсегда) - Infinity pool. Не советую ходить туда с мамами, так как иногда им приходится нелегко, несмотря на сложность пути 3,5 из 10 (из некоторых источников).
You can walk away quite far away and even get to a very secret place called Infinity pool. You’d only meet a few bravest folks  on your way (as internet telling you that the place is definitely closed). I woudn’t recommend to go there with your mom in spite of 3.5 out of 10 difficulty level (according to certain internet sources).

• MTR Tung Chung Station. Take bus 11 to Tai O bus terminus (the journey takes approximately 50 minutes). Walk for around five minutes to the Rope-drawn Ferry Bridge and then take a stroll along the waterfront.
• MTR Tung Chung Station Exit B. Take Ngong Ping cable car to Ngong Ping Village (approx 25 minutes). Take bus 21 to Tai O terminus (approx 20 minutes) and walk for around five minutes to the Rope-drawn Ferry Bridge and then take a stroll along the waterfront.
