My first week here in Hong Kong
Hello my friends,
So finally I managed to come to my destination... a month later! but well, all that is behind, it's been a week I'm here and now I can tell you my first impressions on this magnificent city.
But first of all, the flight. The flight was good. Really good. I took the Emirates company for the 1st time and wasn't dissapointed at all! It's cheaper comparing to Air France and so much more comfortable, I didn't even mind a stop over in Dubai for 3.5 hours at the end.
Emirates is a company that cares for your food choices:
I was really pleased.
During the whole flight, I watched 3 movies and slept. Movies are a subject apart actually. There were:
1) While we are young
2) The face of an angel
3) Amy
I think I'll make a little note on that as I like sharing my impressions and especially not to forget myself :)
My manager here got me from the airport to drive me to my provisionnal stay in an airbnb apartment. Thank him very much for that by the way!
So now I'm still at this appartment sharing it with 3 people: a girl from New Zealand, a guy from New York and another guy from Haiti. Pretty internation hein?
So I started to work on Wednesday and then Thursday was off :) as the 1st of October is a National Day in Hong Kong. So I could make my first promenade. Please see pictures below.
Oh yeah, I forgot, I mostly walked around in Wan Chai, part of the city I live in.
