All in all, it was a bad day for the girls of Blockbuster. Two of us had our bank cards cloned, which resulted in one of us being defrauded of $500. And the third had some fucking hurtful shit yelled at her out the window of a car by a stranger.

Today can be over any time now.

I hope his hand gets caught in a blender as well, but are you liable for the fraudulent charges? That's one of the bigger selling points for debit cards on this side of the border. It can't hurt to check with the bank, right?

Nah, I'm not liable if I can prove it's fraud. Since I've never set foot in Brampton (actually I'm not even sure where it is) I'm sure it won't be a problem.

The suck is that I'm heading home to Ottawa on Friday and now I have to borrow money for a bus ticket to get there. Not to mention the fact that this kinda crap always seems to happen when I'm about to go out of town. My wallet got stolen once on December 23, the night before my bus home... for which I had no ticket :P

Oh, Christ. Something like that happened to me last year right around Christmas time; eventually the bank made everything right, but it was really incredibly stressful, since I was leaving for the States the next day and they had put a hold on my bank account.

Yeah, in a way I'm lucky because I'm leaving for Ottawa this Friday, and I tend to not really spend a whole lot when I'm staying with my parents eating their food ;)
