* My boss just came in and told me that the asst. I got rid of months ago is coming back to me. He needs something to do with her. This causes me great grief, as she is worthless. "Thanks a lot." me  "My pleasure" him. ASS

Sorry about the assistant. Sounds like she and my secretary would get a long well.

I can completely understand what you're saying about going through life and losing yourself. It's part of the reason I'm single again. Ultimately, I find lots of fulfillment from knowing that my work matters, at least to my students.

Eh, basketball. Nowhere near right with the final four - though I did get LSU.

Hope the lunch date was fantastic and that we got a wee moment to enjoy some sun. I'm going to try for a walk to Starbucks in a few minutes.

I have finally shut my door to give myself from peace and maybe to keep the asst. out of my personal space. Turned up music and made some tea. I am going to make it a nice afternoon.

At least you got one team, I was 0 for 4, pathetic.

Lunch was great thank you and I am so jealous you can walk to Starbucks. Hope you are having a wonderful day and not to much stressers.

Why would they give you an assistant back that you got rid of? How utterly stupid.

Have you ever felt that you are going through life and kind of losing yourself?
Oh dear god yes. Take in the kitty, it'll shake up your routines and give you something new, plus you'll feel good when it starts to get all healthy and fat and shiny. TAKE THE KITTY! You know it makes sense ;)

I am getting this asst. back because my boss does not have the balls to get rid of her, and needs somewhere to put her. It will not be pretty.

I think I found a home for my wayward kitty, my dog would have had a fit if I would have kept her. That does make me feel good though she has a good home.

I need to go over to yummy_mummys and introduce myself, I have been procrastinating.

The asst. is so terrified of work I am thinking she might just leave, this would be good for everyone.

OMG these teachers are wonderful, first day of class and it was running as smooth as could be.
