ambitions
There are many things that I must do in my life. I really want to be able to have a lifestyle where I have the proper location, time, and money to be able to be really fit purely from all of the caving, hiking, running, snorkeling, and adventuring that I am unremittingly doing. Right now I am fit because I work out regularly and have been thoroughly educated on the fundamentals of proper exercise and well-being.
Something that I desperately want to do, and I cannot elucidate this urge, is ride a camel. Not in a setting such as a zoo nor anything so staged. It will be in the desert and I will be wearing a keffiyeh. I'm thinking, since I am in all probability not going to make it to the Middle East or Northern Africa to fulfill my dream (at least not in the near future), I will travel to far western China to undergo this exotic feat. Again, I cannot even begin to explain why I want to do this so badly. I might conjecture it is because there is nothing less Western than being in the middle of the desert using a camel as one's mode of transportation.
I hope I'm not disappointed when it finally does happen.
