So my date went terribly. I came dressed to the nines, and she showed up late in jeans and a t-shirt. Which was fair enough, because I didn't specify what kind of attire or anything. I just figured that girls tend to like sprucing up, and she knew I was taking her to a restaurant. Next time I will know better than to assume. Anyway, the restaurant was really nice, but she was a total bump on a log the entire time. I guess she was really tired from the long day and not sleeping. I had just rowed a 2k a few hours earlier, and was also tired, but still capable of holding a conversation.
(As a side note: I hate it when non-athletes say they are tired now. When I am tired, it is because I have to be up at lame'o'clock every morning for either work or rowing practice, on top of the afternoon practice I have everyday, as well as being up late finishing papers, etc. When normal people are tired, it is their own damn fault and they can stfu.)
And now back to our show. The food was really delicious and the service was great. I will totally be returning to that place. Except next time I'm not going to bring a girl who acts bored and then doesn't say thank you when I pay for her dinner. In an attempt to salvage the evening, we went to get ice cream, but when we got there, she didn't want any! "I don't want any sugar right now..."
So I kicked her in the face. The end.
Ky (me): "Hey Nick, how was YOUR date?"
Nick: "I just spent an hour and a half talking to a brick wall that giggles..."
In conclusion, women are stupid and I do not respect them. (Kind of kidding.)
