Alright... I haven't heard back from Vitale yet. And I've been doing some thinking.
The states really haven't been that great to me, and I see no reason to stay rooted yet. It's time to travel... far... far away.
I'm gonna apply to IBM's Internal Audit East Asia group. Using my minor in Japanese should be good leverage to use against other hopefuls. I'm going to take this application one step further. I'm pooling every single resource I can in order to get this job. I met a girl today in my Financial Statement Auditing class that worked with IBM last year, and loved it. I'm going to ask her to talk to her old bosses about getting me in. On top of that, my uncle currently works for IBM, I'll use that. But wait, there's more. My Brother worked for IBM for a year or so one summer, and kept in good touch with people there, due to the fact that his ex-girlfriend's father worked at IBM. I have 3 helpful people for this process... and I intend to utilize every last bit of it I can.
Screw Boston, Screw NYC. I'm traveling. Even if I don't get into the East Asia group, I'll still take the US division (Home only on Saturdays). I think the work is for 18 weeks. I'll take it.
