Huh.
Apparently I've decided to abandon this thing. Because somehow it's been 7 months since I last posted. Whoops! Not dead and all that, just...doing other things. Working, reading pr0n...you know, the usual. Went to Seattle, Death Valley, Yosemite, Iowa, and back to Chicago. (Sidenote: The Annual Family Fireworks & Explosion Extravaganza went off with nary a fire nor eye-injury--there was some smoldering grass and cardboard shrapnel, but everyone survived.) But other than that, I'm still here, still playing with the birds for a living. I guess I just lost interest in posting stuff, though I still read LJ avidly.
But lo, whilst I was stewing in my own apathy, HJ1 did approach me and put forth that we ressurect the collaborative blog! And that was what I needed to kick me out of lurking and back into posting.
