 well I did it, picked up vodka rigis and utica greens from georgios. I have eaten the salad, greens and fresh bread but I have enough self discipline to leave the rigis for tomorrow. they are so much better the next day. I hope the cook does not know that, because i know how much angst that would create. I have the same problem with my macaroni salad and scalloped potatoes. It pisses me off when i go through all the trouble of making either of them that I am serving them at less than their peak, after all my friends deserve the best. the feeling is mollified when i serve the scalloped potatoes because i always have southern fried chicken with them, and know my chicken is at its best when it comes off the top of the stove. but I can only cook chicken on thursday so the mess only waits overnight until the housekeeper gets here. did I tell you I have two, they come every other week, and neither knows about the other. that way they think they are cleaning a two week mess and i dont feel like such a slob
