Airsoft anyone...?
So yeah, had a fun time in special tactics on Monday night. Haha, over with Phinizy and some of them folks we played a lil airsoft in a field near her apartment. They don't really hurt, just a lil bee sting, its nothing...unless ya get shot in the knuckle that you had surgery on four years ago. It hurt so flippin bad. Story goes I hit Ben in the chest, then he turned around and shot me, no intention of the position of the shot may I add (he's no Army Ranger), in the freakin knuckle of my shooting hand. Hurt...anywho. Good times.
I'm lovin me some speaking. The Lord is moving me and using me just as He has planned. Since He's instilled in me the burning passion for Him, He's been molding me for every occurance and situation. I hope I'm becoming better bringing the Word...I wanna just continue to grow/mature in doing that and really have the Divine ability to be the Lord's microphone and speak to people's hearts. I'm starting to get chances more and more. Sunday School is such an amzing experience; getting to teach such a mature group. I was skeptical about it at first since I'm just a year older than the Seniors, but He has clearly blessed the opportunity. I'm also speaking at Grayson's FCA this Thursday mornin. Becca (my sister) is the "rep" for them, so I kinda got a lil hookup there. Can't wait to bring it to them.
I'm speaking at Collins Hill's FCA on Monday November 8th. The worship is gonna be "downpour intimate" me and the worship folks are hoping. hahaha, Lacey, you'll love that. Go ahead and show for this and hear The LORD use me as His microphone.
But yeah, just in the same way The Lord provides so much for me, he takes away too. I have always had a passion for coaching. I kinda felt going through high school that I was like Charlie Conway from "The Mighty Ducks"...always knew I'd be a better coach than a player. I had the chance to coach basketball @ Lanier Middle School this year but it aint gonna work out. I just can't wait to see the sovereignty behind this one...
