I am so jealous that you got extra credit for reading that book, you have no idea. It was so hilarious. There were so many points where I was just giggling into my fist, pretending that I wasn't reading about Jesus learning about sex through his best friend having sex in the stall next to his.

Btw, when I was trying to ask Al what to give you as a prompt, we were talking about Death Note which brought up- well, have you read Alphabet? Have you even watched V for Vendetta? I feel like you have, but I can't remember. BUT BASICALLY ALPHABET IS A DEATH NOTE/V FOR VENDETTA CROSSOVER THAT HAS V AND L BEING AWESOME AND MATT AND MELLO BEING AWESOME AND CUTE TOGETHER AND NEAR WEARING HATS. There is really more to like than that, because it is AWESOME in general and you should really read it because me and Al kind of adore it. Here look, let me entice you-

I WAS SO MAD ABOUT THAT. It was painfully obvious that it got to the point where she was like, "Oh, hmm, I guess he's no longer integral to the narrative, *KILLS*", and I seriously… I mean, there are times when character deaths add something to the book, and there are times when they're just obnoxious, and that fell cleanly into the latter category. There are also times when it's obvious the author kills a character simply because said author knows the audience loves said character, and it may slide into that category, too. TL;DR I'm still pissed about it. XD

lol have you noticed that it takes me an average of about four days to respond to comments? Although you're seriously going to have to remind me every single day until I write it or else I will forget. I have actually lost the list of fics I owe people. On my computer. Somewhere. Shit.

I have seen V for Vendetta, although I believe it was about three hours after my grandfather's funeral… and on a little tiny TV screen… so honestly I mostly just remember really liking it but not much in the way of details. >__> It's on my list of things to see again, but the progress I have made on that list is strikingly nonexistent. Like, when I read that part it was like six in the morning, so it didn't really register at first. I was like, that's weird, why's she having flashbacks of Finnick, he went up first rig- OH MY GOD HE IS STILL DOWN THERE HE'S THE ONE SHE CAN'T HELP and just. I don't even know. Then the rest of the book was this big long thing that was pretty much psychological trauma after psychological trauma and then the bit about the last Hunger Games with the kids? WHAT THE HELL. I don't know. Mockingjay just made me really sad in general. Catching Fire is my favorite of the three.

I FORGOT ABOUT THAT FIC, OH MY GOD, I WANT TO GO BACK AND READ IT AGAIN NOW. Go for it. Ten works. I like Eleven and Nine and all the other ones, but I'm pretty sure Ten will always be my favorite just because. And you write him really, REALLY well. Crack is fine! ♥

You should totally watch it again, because it's my favorite movie ever and it has intellectual terrorists who have very vast vocabularies (ahaha, v. Oh jesus, I am such a nerd.) and Natalie Portman being SO FREAKING BOSS I SWEAR and a lot of emotional shit and BLOWING SHIT UP TO THE 1812 OVERTURE.

Read it. Read it, read it, read it, oh my god. I reread it like every fall. It's brilliant and the characters are perfect and just aslj;gf I CAN'T TALK ABOUT THIS I WILL REREAD IT.

It was SUCH a sucker-punch. That part especially, but the whole book was oppressive in a way the others weren't. I was flailing about discussing this with powdered_opium right after it came out, and my English Major Hypothesis is that that has a lot to do with Peeta being so unstable when he was such a rock/moral compass character in the first two. And I think the first one was actually my favorite; I was starting to see the way she liked to draw things together by the second one, so it didn't have nearly as many surprises. Although. Finnick makes a strong case for it being the best one. XD

I definitely have all of the important stuff planned; I just haven't had a chance to write it. Which is good, because eltea made up the best. ending. ever when I was telling her about it night before last.
