About RPs that use RPG-styled battle systems.
If you're participating just because of the idea of your characters getting EXP or getting stronger and whatever else, you're doing it wrong. The whole point is still the character interaction and following along with the plot(s), so pressuring the GM to add your character to the database used by the battle system is pointless, because the combat system is one of the minor details of the game; it isn't at all necessary to even participate in the fights.
