A million times this. If you need more than a 2 GB Creative mp3 player, you're too indecisive.

Eh I went with Creative once and it died within a few months. It could be that the model I got was pretty cheep though.

I had a Creative Zen Nano, actually only 1 GB I think, it did eventually come apart, but I don't think it was built to survive a 2-story drop.

Before that I had like a MuVo or something, its design is pretty neat, but the thing's still in working order after like... I dunno, 3-5 years.

First suggestion - Reinstall iTunes

Second suggestion - Fuck iTunes, it's a terrible program. There's other ways (AFAIK) to manage an iPod. Don't ask me how, I'm not going near that thing.

Ipods suck because they exist. Get some other MP3 player.
