Now for an actual post that has nothing to do with RP at all.
I was called this morning and informed that one of my bosses wants me to start being trained on more of the office work, specifically putting together the paper's classifieds. This would put me in the office on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday starting at 4:30pm, and I already do other stuff in the office on weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday @ 5:30). Put together, this has me in the office five days a week, and I'm supposed to have two days off every week as well.
Know what this means? Besides needing to rework my non-work schedule again.
It means I'm most likely getting out of the mailroom.
Does anyone have any idea how long I've wanted out of there?
So I called Kathy. Her phone's off so it went straight to voicemail. Left her a message telling her to call me back. If she doesn't already know about this, she will know by 9 tonight. She'll have to know what's going on, and she's told me repeatedly that she will not stop me if I'm presented with an opportunity to start doing work I'd want to do, even if it means the mailroom suffers a small loss for it.
