So, last night while the rest of the world was watching the big game, I played Tetris Party on the Wii. One single game, which ran so long that the in-game timer stopped, at 99:59'99, while the lines counter continued to work. I beat my previous record of 1833, by making it to 1869, and the only reason I stopped was I had to leave for work

I should probably add that the blocks were coming down at max speed after only 140 lines.
