Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
Chapter 30
Yabu was in his room with Hikaru and Kei. They were gathering again, this time to talk for a much more serious matter.
‘Mizuno-san contacted you?’ Hikaru asked.
‘Un… Through Nakayama-kun. He really gave me a surprise. I didn’t expect him to be one of us. After all he is always so quiet in class.’ Yabu said.
‘That kid probably knows about it but since he always so secretive I not surprise he never told us.’ Hikaru sighed.
‘He’s just doing his work, Hikaru. You can blame him just because of who he is.’ Yabu retorted.
‘Panther will be joining us? Are you sure that’s a good idea?’ Kei asked.
‘He is wild but he is strong. He’ll do well in adding our fire power.’ Hikaru commented.
‘Maybe that’s what Mizuno-san wants. To get us ready for the fight.’ Yabu said.
‘Sigh….. Looks like we can’t avoid it after all.’ Kei said.
‘At least that kid would be happy.’ Hikaru said.
‘Since earlier you guys had been talking about that kid. Who are you talking about?’ Kei asked.
‘Panther’s brother, Kei……. He must be happy to know his younger brother joining him.’ Hikaru said.
‘Oh….. He knows that Panther’s his brother already?’ Kei asked.
‘Yup. You can’t keep anything from him. He’s a genius when it comes to investigating. But Panther don’t knows about it yet.’ Hikaru said.
‘Maybe he’s overworking himself to avoid his brother. Not like we can’t do anything about we need his information to make our association’s plans succeed.’ Kei said.
‘And that’s what we are here for, guys. Waiting for his call. He promise to update to me today but he’s quite late. Maybe something happen this morning.’ Yabu said.
‘Not like it matters to us. Thanks to the festival our work burden is minus by a lot.’ Hikaru said.
‘But I’m worried. He’s normally very punctual.’ Yabu said.
Suddenly Yabu phone rang.
‘Talk about the devil.’ Hikaru said while Yabu picked up his phone.
*Phone conversation*(Black is Yabu, Blue is Hikaru, Green is Kei and Bold Black is the person on the phone)
‘Konichiwa, Yabu-san.’
‘Konichiwa, Mirage.’
‘Is Inoo-san and Yaotome-san there yet?’
‘Hai.’
‘Then please put me on loud speaker.’
‘Okay.’
‘Hei, Mirage…. Can you hear me?’
‘Hai, Yaotome-san. I’ll get straight to the point since I still got other things to handle later.’
‘Go ahead, Mirage.’
‘First of all, Yamada Ryosuke has been recuited by to join the Dark Alice Organisation and I had already confirmed this earlier.’
‘What?!’
‘Later…. Let me finish first. Second, Rie is save with and Chinen will probably gonna be free too. Third, he is probably gonna start taking action against our activities outside the academy. And lastly, Ryosuke is losing trust in us and had decided to take on his burden on his own.’
‘Is Yamada-kun crazy? He can’t handle his problems on his own.’
‘At least Rie and Chinen-kun will be save, Kou-chan.’
‘But it is dangerous for him. He could get hurt.’
‘That should be the least of your worries.’
‘What do you mean by that, Mirage?’
‘Ryosuke can protect himself.’
‘How can you say that?! Ain’t he your best friend?’
‘He’s no longer just a kid! He stronger than you think he is! You must learn to be less protective over him, Yabu!’
‘(Gulp…..) Gomen…….)’
‘(sighed……) I’m done here. I’ll leave it to you guys to inform Mizuno-san.’
‘Mirage, did you know Panther will be coming tomorrow?’
‘(…) Not exactly…. I guess it…. I knew he would be send here sooner or later.’
‘You’re not worried?’
‘I’ll be lying if I say I’m not worried but I know my brother is stronger than he seems.’
‘You’re fine then.’
‘Yeah, I guess. I’m just not ready to face him as a brother yet. I’m lucky he still doesn’t know..’
‘You’re not gonna tell him?’
‘Not yet. Till we’re both ready, I won’t be telling him anything. I don’t want to lose him as a friend.’
‘The longer you avoid it, the harder it will be to face it.’
‘I know. But we had been separated for so long. Oh well…. That’s my problem and you should be more concerned about the association problems than mine. Bye, guys.’
*END OF PHONE CONVERSATION*
The phone was hang up immediately after the person finish talking.
‘He hang up.’ Yabu said.
‘Looks like he doesn’t want to talk about him and his brother yet.’ Hikaru said.
‘Well, it was a private issue after all.’ Kei said reasonably.
‘Yeah, you’re right.’ Yabu sighed.
‘Well, I’m going now. I need to go check on the festival safety.’ Hikaru said.
‘Wait! I going along with you. Are you coming with us, Kei?’ Yabu said.
‘Yeah, sure. I’m free.’ Kei agreed.
‘Yay! Someone gonna to accompany me while I visit the festival!’ Kota said excitedly, making Kei and Hikaru shake their head in unison.
‘He is still so childish.’
