Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
Chapter 25
Daiki was sitting beside Rie in a black car. They had just left the Yamada’s household and were returning to the academy. Rie was quiet making Daiki worried. Daiki left arm was bandaged. It wasn’t easy to get Rie as he thought. From Daiki’s point, this girl inherited her brother’s wisdom.
*Flashback*
Daiki just arrived at the Yamada’s household. The place was a mess. Top over cars, broken furniture and equipments all over the place. In the middle of the living room, Yamada Rie was sitting there sobbing with her knees bended up to her chest. The academy men and Rie’s parents could not even get close to her since every time they tried furniture or equipments will be thrown at them. It seems that the girl already guess she was gonna get force to leave like brother and decided to put up a resistance.
Daiki walked up towards her and almost immediately a table was thrown towards him. Before the furniture could even reach him, it had reach, it had fallen to the ground. This definitely shocked the younger girl. Daiki take this chance to run towards the girl and place the anti-alice bracelet on her wrist. What Daiki did not expect was Rie was holding a small pocket knife. Before he can dodge it, Rie has already slashed him on his left arm. Daiki ignored his bleeding arm and knock the knife away from Rie grip. Immediately the academy’s men rush towards them, stopping Rie from doing more damage and help do some first aid for Daiki.
‘Bring her to the car. Check is there any of the neighbors that had seen anything. If they did, tell the headmaster later.’ Daiki ordered the men. The academy’s men obviously don’t like Daiki ordering them around but they know Daiki is one of the top users that serve the academy’s headmaster and he has much higher authorities than they do.
After Rie had left Daiki towards the Yamadas. He took out a cheque from his pocket and hands it over to Mr. Yamada.
‘Here’s the money the academy promise you. I’m sure you know the rules and conditions.’ Daiki said.
‘We understand. We are happy this transaction when well.’ Mr. Yamada said.
‘So is the academy.’ Daiki said before leaving and joining Rie in the back seat of the black car.
*Flashback ends*
‘Do you need anything?’ Daiki asked Rie since she was so quiet.
‘The academy is not such a scary place.’ Daiki lied to make Rie feel better.
‘And you get to see your older brother again.’ Daiki said but Rie still keep quiet making Daiki sighed.
Daiki was still trying to think of a way to cheer Rie up when the driver tell him that they had reach the academy. An older boy was standing in front of the gate. Daiki bring Rie towards the older boy.
‘Thanks you for your hard work, Arioka-kun. I’ll take her from here.’ The boy said.
‘What’s he gonna do with her? Where’s she going, Shimamoto-san?’ Daiki asked.
‘It is not my position to say where she is going.’ Shimamoto answered.
‘At least let her see Yamada-kun.’ Daiki said.
‘It’s his choice.’ Shimamoto replied, making Daiki sighed at his answer.
‘See you later then, Rie?’ Daiki said while patting Rie head, reassuring the younger girl.
‘I will bring her now. He’s waiting for her. You should return to the festival.’ Shimamoto said before leaving with Rie.

Ryosuke was tossing and twisting in his sleep.
‘No… Otou-san…. Oka-san….. No….. Not Rie too…… Not Rie…… She’s too young…..’ Ryosuke kept mumbling.
‘Yama-chan! Yama-chan! Wake up!’ Yuto kept shaking Ryosuke.
‘Yuto….’ Ryosuke whimpered as he woke up. Yuto and Keito were shocked to find the boy crying. Yuto immediately hugged Ryosuke, letting the older boy cry in his arms.
‘What’s wrong, Yama-chan?’ Yuto asked softly.
‘Rie…. He got her….’ Ryosuke say while sobbing.
‘Rie? I thought she is with your parents? And who is he?’ Yuto asked.
‘The headmaster…. He bought her. They sold her to him.’ Ryosuke whimpered.
Yuto and Keito exchanged confused looks. They managed to calm Ryosuke back to sleep. After Ryosuke fall asleep, Yuto asked Keito about what they heard earlier.
‘Do you think what he dreamt was real?’ Yuto asked.
‘I’m not sure but if it is real why would the headmaster want Rie.’ Keito replied.
‘Yeah. It doesn’t make sense. Why would he want a 2 years old for?’ Yuto agreed with Keito.
‘Well, I’m gonna go inform Chinen first. We promised to tell him if Yama-chan wakes up.’ Keito said.
‘I’ll be here then.’ Yuto said. Keito nodded in agreement before leaving the room.
