Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
Chapter 21
It was 9.00am the next day. Ryosuke was waiting outside the main office building.
*Ryosuke POV*(italic are his thoughts)
‘Takaki-senpai is late. Don’t tell me this one of his practical joke? Maybe I should just leave. But I curious why he wanted to talk to me so privately. He seems so secretive, completely not like himself.’
*End of POV*
While Ryosuke was lost in his thoughts, a boy around Takaki’s age is walking out the main building.
‘Are you Yamada Ryosuke?’ the boy asked suddenly.
‘Hai.’ Ryosuke said after jumping slightly, shocked because of the boy’s sudden question.
‘Can you come with me?’ the boy asked.
‘Gomen….. um……?’ Ryosuke said, pausing a bit since he doesn’t know the older boy’s name.
‘Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya Suou desu.’ The boy answered.
‘Ah sou…… Hitsugaya-senpai, ne…. Gomen, Hitsugaya-senpai. I’m waiting for someone here.’ Ryosuke said.
‘Is Takaki-kun the one you are waiting for?’ Suou asked.
‘Hai. How did you know?’ Ryosuke said.
‘Takaki-kun send me here to get you inside. He’s busy with something inside the office.’ Suou said.
‘Oh. Okay, then.’ Ryosuke said.
Ryosuke followed Suou inside the main office until they reach a room with a double-door. Suou gesture Ryosuke to enter the room. Ryosuke opened the door and saw a half-dimmed room. Ryosuke was about to turn around and asked Suou whether he got the wrong room but before he can do so, Suou had already push him inside and with a soft ‘sorry’ before he closed the door. Ryosuke tried to open the door but it was locked. He tried calling for Suou but there was no reply. While Ryosuke was struggeling with the door, he heard a voice behind him which cause him to turn around.
‘Welcome, Yamada-kun.’ The voice come from the darker part of the room.
‘Who are you?’ Ryosuke asked curiously.
‘The headmaster of Horikoshi Academy. I’ve invited you here today to make a agreement with you.’ The headmaster answered. The man’s answer cause Ryosuke to all of a sudden felt cold. He can fell himself sweating and shaking all over.
‘What do you want?’ Ryosuke managed to ask.

‘Ryo, where do you want to go first?’ Ryosuke heard Chinen asked.
‘Anyway will be fine, Chii.’ Ryosuke answered.
‘Okay, then.’ Chinen said as he start walking with Ryosuke and Ryutaro following.
Chinen was guiding them to the elemental ability site but stopped when he realized Ryosuke has stop walking. He turned around and look at his friend and saw that Ryosuke was shaking badly with a scared look while staring at someone. He and Ryutaro both look at the direction Ryosuke was looking at and they saw Takaki.
‘Ryo, are you okay? Why do you look so scared of Takaki-senpai?’ Ryutaro asked.
‘Um…. It’s nothing. I just want to visit the non-elemental site first.’ Ryosuke lied.
‘Oh…. That’s fine, right Ryu?’ Chinen said.
‘Yeah, that’s fine. After all I heard there’s a play show today? But you should had just said so earlier.’ Ryutaro said.
‘Gomen….’ Ryosuke apologized.
‘Ja….. Ikuzo.’ Chinen said.
After playing in the non-elemental site for the entire day, the three of them felt tired but no matter how tired Chinen was he can’t help feeling worried about Ryosuke. Ryosuke was acting weird. He wasn’t himself. He was not enjoying himself. He didn’t even laughed when they watched the comedy play show earlier.
‘Ryo, what’s wrong with you today?!’ Chinen asked, standing in front of the older boy stopping him from going forward.
‘Nothing wrong, Chii….’ Ryosuke replied but was interrupted by Chinen.
‘Stop lying! I’m not blind. What’s troubling you?!’ Chinen said, frustrated.
‘Yeah. I noticed it too, Ryo. You’re just not yourself today.’ Ryutaro said, placing his hand on Ryosuke’s shoulder to comfort him only to get whacked away by the latter.
‘I’m fine! How many times must I repeat myself?! Why do you keep pressuring me?!’ Ryosuke yelled, shocking both Chinen and Ryutaro. This is the first time Ryosuke yelled that way towards them. Anger and frustration was obvious in the older boy eyes. After finish yelling Ryosuke ran off. Chinen was too shocked to chase him and by the time he snapped out of it Ryosuke was long out of sight.
