Summary: Horikoshi Gakuen is a school full of secret. All that was known of this school to the public that only kids that were special were allowed to attend to it. This is the story of a boy by the name Yamada Ryosuke that was forcefully invited to attend this school. Unknown of the school secrets, this is the start of an unfolding story of this mysterious boy life in this new school where his journey of not only journey of knowledge but also the story of his past and love would begin.
chapter 12
‘So, he had suspected Chinen.’ Ryutaro said to himself after his pet canary told him Chinen’s conversation with Ryosuke.
‘He will eventually find out just like I did.’
*Flashback*
In an alley in Central Town.
‘Chii, I know what the academy is asking you to do.’ Ryutaro tell Chinen.
‘What do you mean, Ryuu?’ Chinen denied his friend’s words.
‘Don’t deny it, Chii. I know the academy ask you to do illegal stuffs. They even asked you to kill, right?’ Ryutaro asked his friend.
‘How…. How did… you know..?’ Chinen said shakily, shocked that his friend found out his secret.
‘Chii, don’t underestimated me. I’m your best friend. Can’t you rely on me more.’ Ryutaro said, looking at his friend with pity in his heart, but he did not reveal it.
‘Why did you do it, Chii? Was it because of me, because of the class?’ Ryutaro asked impatiently since Chinen just kept quiet.
‘No!’ Chinen denied.
‘Yeah right, Chii. Just keep denying but I’m not talking to you until you admit it.’ Ryutaro said angrily before walking down the alley, leaving his friend.
Chinen can only watch as his only friend walk away from him. The next thing he know is his friend was on the ground because he bumped into someone around the corner. When he reach the corner, he saw Ryutaro using his alice of strength against a poor Yamada who is struggling to breath. He tried to persuade Ryutaro to let him go and was glad he did. He watch as his friend argued with the 3 boys and beat up Okamoto. But when he realize Nakajima was planning to used his alice against Ryutaro, he rushed forward and knocked him out by hitting him hard in the stomach. The next thing Chinen knew was the whole place was a blazed. He noticed Ryutaro has no chance of defending himself against the flames. When he ran passed Yamada, he heard that Yamada said something about not hurting his friends. Chinen kept a mental note on how strong Yamada’s alice was. He admits it that Yamada’s alice was definitely stronger than he ever thought. When he reached Ryutaro, he immediately carried him out of the flames. He watches as the flame subsided and Yamada falls unconscious. He was planning to call for help but did not when he saw Takaki and Nakamura ran towards the unconscious boys.

Chinen bring Ryutaro back to Ryutaro’s room and rested him on the bed.
‘Thanks, Chii.’ Ryutaro mumbled. He was hurt by the fire earlier but his wounds have started healing slowly due to his healing alice.
‘I thought you are not going to talk to me until I tell you my secret.’ Chinen said carrying a first aid box, walking towards his friend.
‘I’m sorry, Chii.’ Ryutaro apologized, bringing his knees up to his chest, curling up on his bed. He was feeling guilty for trying to force Chinen to admit something he didn’t want to tell.
‘I’m sorry too, for not telling you. Now stay still so I can treat your wounds.’ Chinen said, accepting his friend apology. He wasn’t angry in the first place because he was guilty himself.
‘Ah…. I’m fine. The wounds will heal themselves.’ Ryutaro said not wanting to trouble his friend.
‘So? Gonna bleed till they heal?’ Chinen said sarcastically.
‘Hump…’ Ryutaro pouted while Chinen laughed.
‘Ne, Ryutaro.’ Chinen said after he stop laughing.
‘What?’ Ryutsro said, still sulking
‘Are we still friends?’ Chinen asked nervously.
‘No.’ Ryutaro answered without hesitation, making Chinen looked down sadly at his answer.
‘Chii, we are not friends. We are best friends.’ Ryutaro said seriously. At his words, Chinen jumps up and hugs him.
*Flashback ends*
‘And so what will you do if he really does know.’ Said a boy as he jumped out of a bushed behind Ryutaro.
‘Dai-chan!’ Ryutaro said in surprise.
‘So?’ Daiki ask him again since Ryutaro didn’t answer his question.
‘Maybe I’ll just give him a tip or so. I could tell it straight to him. After all he will find out eventually, even though Chii wouldn’t want him to know. That kid not stupid unlike his other two friends.’ Ryutaro said.
‘You’re so concerned about Chinen. I’m getting jealous.’ Daiki pouted.
‘Oh come on, Dai-chan. You know I love you, right? Chii just my best friend.’ Ryutaro said hugging his lover.
‘I know but I hate keeping our relationship a secret.’ Daiki said, still pouting.
‘This is the best for all of us.’ Ryutaro said, kissing his lover on the lips.
Daiki tried to deepen the kiss but Ryutaro pulled away.
‘Dai-chan! Someone might see us!’ Ryutaro panicked.
‘Mou..’ Daiki pouted.
‘Dai-chan… I promise once we are in high school I’ll tell everyone that we are together.’ Ryutaro said, petting Daiki’s head. Even though Daiki was older, Ryutaro was taller than him.
‘I gotta go, Dai-chan. Chinen might start to wonder where I went. See you tomorrow. I’ll call you tonight.’ Ryutaro said giving a kiss on Daiki’s cheek before he left.
‘I’ll be waiting for the call!’ Daiki yelled excitedly, making Ryutaro cluck at his boyfriend childishness.
