Lomography and sunshine
Well it's the weekend again. Thank god. Watched the football last night in the pub...England were unfortunately awful. I mean AWFUL. And I have to say Algeria were bloomin' awesome. Usually I like it when the underdogs come out on top (not that they won...but they probably should have) and this world cup has been full of shocking results. Germany, England, Spain, Brazil. None are really excelling. Will make for an interesting next few weeks anyway.
On Thursday I bought a book (this never happens), to add to my large collection for someone that never reads! It isn't a reading book though, it's this... http://uk.shop.lomography.com/accessories/books-albums-print/don-t-think-just-shoot-book and I bought it brand new in a bookshop for £5. A fiver!!! and I looked on the lomography website and saw they sell it for £55!!!!!!! I don't understand. I feel like there's been a mistake. I should be buying the rest of them and selling them on! It's a pretty huge hardback book of gorgeous lomo film photos. :) So colourful and inspiring. I really need to get my Diana F+ film deveoped and see if my first try came out with anything other than all black negatives...
Today I'm waiting on Kenny coming back from work so we can go to our friends BBQ. I'm excited...first BBQ I've been to in years! It's pretty sunny outside (a bit cold but we can't complain). Should be good grub. He usually hunts his own food so there will be gooood eating to be had. I appreciate this very much :) Am going to take along my cameras too and see what shots arise. Not sure anything will take my interest as I'm feeling a bit fuzzy today after the pub last night but I need to get into the habit of having a camera on me at all times.
I'm going to get cloud out now and let him get some sunshine. He can sit on my shoulder in the sun :)
