My brain = "unremarkable"
Ah... California! It is gorgeous here. Sunny, warm, green.
First off, thank you for all the bday wishes. I had a lovely day, due in no small part, to you lot.
Got in late, late, late last night and came home to find that the bathroom remodel my mother had been fretting about for a month was actually my bathroom, not hers. She'd been lying to me to make it a surprise. It's lovely, and she cracks me up, because it ALL matches. She bought soaps of various kinds to match the towels and shower curtain. Also got a lovely plastic bag holder thing for my kitchen (those of you who've seen my place know I have a tiny problem with storing plastic bags), and new winter slippers!
Also of the good yesterday was the call from my neurologist, who confirmed the non-existence of my brain tumor. My MRI came back "unremarkable." He suggests I try to manage my anxiety and get some more rest.
Ergo: vacation.
