*giggle* *snerk* I can't PAY for this kind of entertainment.

I know what you mean though. I was so put off by Angel's cancellation that I was sure I would not be watching any shows at all. But then I started watching Dead Zone because April has both seasons on DVD. Then I saw that Fox was going to be on Lost, CSI: NY was going to have Gary Sinese, CSI still has William Petersen, and I actually liked that one episode of Nip/Tuck that I saw last week. I'm afraid of my raging hormones at the moment.

See, I've sworn off CSI spinoffs, and last season I kept mucking up my taping and missed about half of the Vegas one and realized I didn't even miss it. So there's that one gone. It's one you can catch in reruns and not feel like you've missed anything big.

Neal McDonough and Medical Investigation only made the cut because they put it on Fridays, so I can tape it. The overall hotness factor quality of writing, etc will determine whether it stays on my schedule. Lost has Dom! I will watch no matter how crappy it may be.

Sadly, I have a weakness for teen-angst dramas, and so have had to admit that I watch both The O.C. and Smallville. I'm hoping to cure myself of one or both of these, thereby opening up my schedule and allowing me to come out of my cocoon of shame. At least they're not as bad as the unmentionable ones I watched for years and years.

I....just can't go down the road of Medical Investigations. I just...can't.

I'm addicted to CSI because of Karina. She loves the morbid shows.

My other addiction coming this fall? Law & Order: CI. I can't get enough of D'Onofrio as Goren. I want him to talk to me, pet me, and call me George.

Everwood is my angsty teen drama of choice. Ihaveasmallthingforephram.

My past addictions have all come in the form of hot guys being in UltraSecretGovernmentAgencies...The Pretender, La Femme Nikita. Michael T. Weiss and Roy Dupuis made me into huge huge puddles of goo.

You know, now that you mention it, I read that Dom was going to be angsty rock star on Lost...and then I saw the picture of Fox and lost complete control of my brain.

Yeah, see, those shows you just listed, those were my success stories. I knew I'd become hopelessly addicted, so I made a solemn vow to myself never to watch them. And I haven't. I'm very proud. Why this didn't work with The O.C and Smallville I can't say.

I have fear of Medical Investigation--it's a knock off, with mysteries/crimes that are sure to be gross, gross, gross... But I can't help it. My BoB boys are trying so hard, man. I gotta support them when I can. And so I will risk gross-out for my darling brave, broken Buck Compton. Unless it sucks beyond the telling of it. But I must give it a try.

Having finally bought a TV at the age of 31, I have to say I have lived a fine life with only occasional bouts of show-itis.

Now that I have a TV I refuse to get cable. I'd never get out of the house, and the only hobby I could reliably stick to is cross stitch... even that is questionable.

I'm amazed I'm able to get anything done, really. Though compared to the legendary Average American, I don't actually watch that much. Probably five or six hours a week. And I've made (and mostly stuck to) a rule this summer that dictates that I'm not allowed to compulsively watch DVDs at night. Only for half an hour before work. Cut down enormously on my summer veg time, which was good. Of course, I promptly moved my ass over to my computer and parked it in front of Photoshop.

Sigh. And I'm still reading at a pretty good clip these days, too. More on that in an upcoming post, though.

Sounds like a pooey day hun. Think of Roe - seriously - he makes everything better! And with the Fall TV Anxiety - who cares?! Watch it! Watch it all! Do it for me - I won't have a tv in my flat, so you have to tell me how scrumptious Neal McDonough and Billy are - I want details and a run-down of each episode please!
Hope things pick up, hugs,
x.

'Billy'???? I did not mean to say that. Dom. Yes, Dom, not Billy. How could I ever get those 2 mixed up eh?! lol. I'm in a bit of a 'duh' mood today.:)

Of course you did, darling. Dom and Billy understand "duh" days, and bear you no ill will.

I am treating the annoyingness of my day with lengthy strolls through the TV w/o Pity link you sent me. Very funny.

All right... since you asked specially, I'll watch and keep you informed. But only for you. Not because I have issues with controlling my TV intake or anything.

Look! I did a little layer tricking last night, and made poor Roe's nose and ears all red!

Don't worry - Medical Investigation will be canceled quickly, so you won't have to worry about that one. But yes, Lost is a must.

TWOP had the best quote about BoB,: "They were brave men. They were complex men. And, thanks to Spanks's crack casting agents, they were also hot men. (Well, except David Schwimmer.) The Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg-produced HBO mini-series only spanned ten episodes, but the eye candy will feed us forever: Damian Lewis, Ron Livingston, the third extra from the back in that one scene in the middle...they're all pretty. And pretty brave."
